Basements flood. We fix that.
Waldorf basements take on water more than people expect. Heavy summer storms overwhelm sump pumps. Mattawoman Creek rises. A water heater lets go at 2 a.m. However it happened, the cleanup is the same: get the water out, get everything dry, keep mold out.
We pump standing water, extract from carpet and concrete, and remove wet padding and damaged drywall where needed. Then we set air movers and dehumidifiers and verify with moisture meters.
Finished vs. unfinished basements
Finished basements need more care — wet drywall and insulation hide moisture that turns into mold behind the walls. We open up what must be opened, dry the cavities, and leave it ready for rebuild. Unfinished basements usually just need thorough extraction and drying.
