Water does not just damage buildings. It soaks couches, mattresses, boxes of photos, and everything stored on a basement floor. While we dry the structure, we also help with the contents.
We move belongings to dry areas, set up drying for furniture that can be saved, and sort what is salvageable from what is not. Solid wood furniture often survives. Upholstery depends on the water type and how fast we start. Paper and photos need fast action — separate wet pages and do not rub them.
